<sighs>Not again.... Well, since it appears that Lt. Piett hasn't gotten here yet, I guess it's my job to start RHS Version 5.0. Though it's not official until Piett gets here with his opening speech. Long live the HMS!!!! And May this Thread not suffer the fate of its 5 predecessors. Thank you for the initiative, Saché of Naboo! And I must say that the thread looks ever more appropriate with your name next to it in the Forum listing . . .(. . . this is now a matter of typical procedure, not in extremis circumstance . . .) {*Ahem*} This is the fifth incarnation of the Definitive Thread on Queen Amidala's Handmaidens, a.k.a. The Royal Five from Naboo: Sabé, Rabé, Eirtaé, Yané, and Saché, and the investigation, observation, explication, and other "-tions" thereof, including the respective actresses/models who portrayed them in Return of the Jedi -- kidding! Just seeing if you were paying attention -- The Phantom Menace -- respectively: Keira Knightley, Karol Cristina da Silva, Friday "Liz" Wilson, Candice Orwell, and Sofía Copolla. With of course the occasional nod toward Padmé and the actress that played her, Natalie whoever. Please feel free to step and address any issue or inquest of Handmaidenry you so desire. (Up to and including, the desirability of certain HM's. Just ask Red One ) We are a mostly harmless if slightly zealous lot, but fully egalitarian and open to all JC.N Tribes without prejudice. A study in efficiency, perhaps, but definitely appreciators of subtlety and potency, guaranteeably flame-free. There's no room for fussin' and fightin' when you've got your Queen to protect and your planet to save. So, for the sixth time (there were two releases of the fourth version of the RHS) -- I hereby hoist the banner and do say, "We are brave, your highness." **Piett** [This message has been edited by Lieutenant Piett (edited 10-29-1999).]

Yes, sadly Yané of Naboo is no more. (bows head one last time in mourning)BUT, I am here still as madeleine you may remember my alias from the Bal Masqué. Well, I've decided to use this instead of re-registering as the ghost of Yané or Yané of Naboo part deux or the like. If you'd like to read my original post about Yané of Naboo's demise, check out the forum at the RHS website. It's under the subject in memoriam. I've edited madeleine's profile (check it out, it's different than the old Yané of Naboo one) and she is now my official username. Long live the RHS! Long live this username (may she surpass Yané of Naboo's 202 posts!) Long live MIK! teehee! madeleine née Yané of Naboo

Réka checking in to the new thread. (I'm getting way too much practice at this.)Ok, new rule: It is illegal to post to the official RHS thread between 2:40 a.m. and 3:20 a.m., Eastern time, and/or at any time that the server is misbehaving. Maybe this rule will prevent our thread from being killed all the time. <hopeful, tentative smile> Madeleine/Yané of Naboo: condolences on the loss of your username. Here's the email address for Scott Chernoff, which Giantano so kindly provided on the last incarnation of this thread: SWuniverse@aol.com. (Scott is one of the writers for SW Insider, and he gets to interview a lot of the supporting players.)

Thank you, Saché for regenerating the RHS! Glad to see you both survived, Red One and Lieutenant! Reporting for duty, sirs! Welcome to madeleine, both here and at the RHS forum. Long may we be graced with her presence! Long live the RHS! (In spirit at least, even if the threads don't survive long...) Smileys to you all!

Good to see you here Réka and GentleBant . . . as with all . . .Where the #*!? are our Founder and Curator? Red One -- you mean . . . you're not going as "Eirtaé's Private Guard"??! Pritty kool Maulemulation, dude! I gotta tell ya -- tonite I'm, uh, "deejaying" a Halloween party wherein a friend of mine who runs a Wushu Kung-fu school is re-enacting the TPM saber duel with two of his, ah, Padawans! Glowing sabers and everything. Wushu, you may know, is the Martial Art that Ray Park employed during the duel. Maybe I'll snag some pix. Sadly, my "Sabé" costume is proving to be impossible, not to mention just plain strongly-discouraged by my family and friends... **Piett**
